About Me

Hello, I’m Gail,

I share my heart and home with my children and 3 cats. I’m from the North-East of England, but for the past 18+ years I’ve lived on the rock in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea called Malta.

Leaning more towards the quieter side of life, one of my current passions is sewing fabric birds and animals and jewellery. I also spend far too long on Pinterest, in the land of ideas and inspiration, and I love to get stuck into writing.

Previous passions have been photography – clearly not selfies, baking, and in-depth explorations into whatever takes my interest at the time. It’s an ADHD trait that I fully embrace!

Although I’m most definitely an introvert, I have been known to enjoy the odd night out with friends as I love a good catch-up.

Peace of Mind is the Greatest Gift

I spent many years suffering from chronic anxiety and stress. I’ve been in an abusive relationship, developed PTSD and last year I was diagnosed with ADHD.

My life has been a confusing rollercoaster for much of it.

I’d become disconnected from myself. I needed to learn how to process my trauma and to give myself the the time, space and attention to understand what was going on with my mind. Why was I so stressed and anxious? How was it affecting me? What could I do about it? Why don’t I seem to fit in anywhere? What would life be like if I didn’t believe everything I thought about myself?

Now, things are different.

I’ve learned to trust myself and I know that the way I do things might be completely different to how other people do things, but that’s fine!

I’ve seen time and time again the impact of stress and anxiety on our lives. It affects the choices we make, the life we live and how happy we are.

My Philosophy

I believe that we’ve become disconnected from ourselves and the natural world. We’ve fully embraced other people’s opinions and the man-made world that’s been created. It’s become difficult to hear our own wisdom above the noise.

Our conditioning – what we’re told we should do, think and be, has put us into boxes that are so rigid that we can barely move.

We all have different needs, tolerances, wants and dreams and when we start to understand that, we can understand ourselves better. When we begin to honour our experiences and our emotions we can begin to make better choices that are more in line with what’s right for us as individuals.

And doing what’s right for us as individuals is beneficial to us all.

My Training

My training began in Glasgow over a decade ago. The moment I started training in hypnotherapy I was hooked! Understanding how my mind worked and finding ways of changing how I felt and how I understood life became a life-long passion. I went on to became an NLP Practitioner and then a Life Coach. Two years later I trained as a 3 Principles Clarity Practitioner.

It was this last course that opened my mind up to a completely different way of understanding mental health and life.

I’ve helped women and men with issues around relationships, anxiety, stress, sexual abuse, domestic violence, work problems, confidence building, phobias, assertiveness, people pleasing and boundry setting, among others.
